Dockley Road, Southwark, London, UK

The redevelopment of the Dockley Road Industrial Estate is part of a wider scheme transforming the railway arches along Southwark's 'LowLine', between London Bridge and Bermondsey. The project will create a new pedestrian street which connects Spa Road and Dockley Road, activated by the traders in the existing railway arches, along with a series of new units on the ground floor of the development, contributing to the array of artisan producers on-site. This will create a lively street open for Saturday market trading forming a key part of Southwark’s Low Line walking routes and establishing a centre of activity and enterprise. On the upper floors are 111 residential units of mixed size and tenure. The project has recently been granted planning permission.

The Dockley Road Industrial Estate is positioned along the Southwark Lowline. It forms a key link in the regeneration of the railway arches, bringing them into use for local businesses and create a centre for activity and enterprise.
